Music to musicals seem to have caught my eye these past several days ... must be May and the weather is super in Idaho ... the desert beckons and calls ...
While shopping ... i spied two items that brought back memories ... memories of when what was when ... and I was of course younger ....
ZZ Top ... the music DVD ... the songs of the 80s ... all on music video ... with such songs that drive me ... stire me ... and my heart .. my spirit ....
LEGS ... SHARP DRESSED MAN ... SLEEPING BAG ... VIVA LAS VEGAS ... VELCRO FLY ... GIMME ALL YOUR LOVIN ... ROUGH BOY ... GIVE IT UP ... MY HEADS IN MISSISSIPPI ... BURGER MAN ... and TV DINNERS ...
LOVE IT ... I luv the CAR .. did i say what jumped out of the car .... Yeap .. thumbs up from ZZ on that one ....
and the other thing that caught my eye ... yes indeedy .. the musical on dvd ... LIL ABNER ... luv it ... memories of a time of when i was a kid ...

Mysteries of when fun was fun ... and music was music ... and a car that flashed a great thing happening ...
Appaloosa...Hey...Was you in chat last Sunday nite, when I mentioned I had just got bk from the place around the corner from where I work...A Band was playing great Music and did some zztop and I was dancing to Sharp Dressed Man and Give It Up and someone asked me how do you dance to ZZ Top and I said you just move to the beat and rhythm...Every Sun Nite they have a good band there and good dancing...
The reason I am asking is because, again we seemed to be on the same track of thinking without actually discussing it ??? I luv that Cd of ZZ Tops old ones...Which Group is it that does " HIghway To Hell " I like that one too...Among a lot of others... No Stop Signs No Speed Limits...LOL...Of course I dont want to be on the HWY TO HELL, just like the beat and rhythm..
Appaloosa..Also go and find the Cd by Pink Floyd, Fairly new cut, it has all of the Best Concerts they did all on one cd...It is a double one...Great Sounds, you would love it, I assume you do like Pink Floyd , or at least some of their best...Let me know , when you get a chance, if you like it....Thats all for now....
I also today was thinking of the Subject : Remember back to the fun of our younger days and the songs that bring up the memories...A new Radio Station came on 2 weeks ago that Plays 70s and 80s music and a mix of other time periods , it has been fun hearing a lot of the Oldies I love the Roberta Flack ones and Della Reese ....Do you remember Betty Davis Eyes by Kim Carns she had a female version voice of Rod Stewart...She didn't do much after that one, I always liked it...Mention a few that you liked ok...Good way to get to know a person is by the different styles of music and songs they enjoy...I go all the way from Classical thru the whole music genre to Rock etc....
